Alright, so HK dropped a new tank regulator, and I’ve been digging into what’s actually different about it — and whether it’s worth the extra cash. It’s called the HK Army 130/140, priced at $130 for the standard and $140 for the long version. I’d recommend peanut tanks, though it’s tricky to pin down what people mean by that since it varies for everyone. It really depends on who you ask about what a peanut tank is. I would suggest going for the 50/4500.
How often should I clean my tank reg? That depends…I think that a good rule is every 50,000 shots on the regulator is about when you should think about greasing and changing o-rings. This isnt always the case though, if you plan in sand or somewhere that is very humid, you may have to service more often.

Another ultra-light tank on the market? Welcome in the First Strike Paintball Hero Air System. A nifty feature of the Hero bottle is that they hold a UNISO certification, meaning the bottle has an unlimited lifespan and meet safety standards for the USA, Canada, Europe and New Zealand. Normal carbon fiber bottles only have a lifespan of 15 years, meaning no matter what they need to be replaced every 15 years. On the new air system is the Hero…
