Have you heard about the latest gun from Planet Eclipse the CS3? It’s been out for a few months now. One thing I like about these CS cases is how cool they look. The CS3’s mechanical frame comes with its case. Currently, I’ve stowed the electronic frame inside it. I love this color. Black with blue parts looks fantastic. The factory color is blue with gray parts, but we did a part swap, resulting in…
Both the CS3 and the 180R feature versions of the GammasCore bolt system: the 180R with the OP-R Core operating at around 120 PSI, and the CS3 with the OP Core operating in a range from 95-105 PSI. The lower pressure in the CS3 is partly due to its slightly larger body, allowing for more volume in the valve chamber.
The CS2 from Eclipse was such a popular gun that naturally, I was excited to try out it’s replacement the CS3. So I did what I always do when new stuff comes out, go to Sac Paintball and decide what color I want to buy. We did a part swap and I ended up with this silver and black.
Planet Eclipse has released their latest gun, the 180R, the follow-up to the 170R. Although the 180R is quite similar to the 170R, it has been tuned up and tweaked to make it more user-friendly. It launches in a hand-full of colors grey/blue, grey/green, grey/orange, black, and Pred camouflage.
The successor to the popular 170R marker and features one main improvement the, the OP-R Core drivetrain. The OP-R core, is an improved GammaCore with a lower operating pressure.
Another change in the LV2 is its ability to be customized and tweaked to the user’s preferences. The gun comes with two different weight rammers, with the lighter rammer being more air efficient and the heavier rammer providing a smoother shot.
