The V-Force Profiler 2.0 has officially launched and is available now for $94.95

A Look at the Profiler 2.0: What’s New?

The Profiler mask has been a staple in the paintball community for a while, and now, we’re getting a look at the Profiler 2.0. But how different is it really?

Captain O-Ring Players Kit Large Color...
  • O-rings are color coded by size, eliminating the headache of matching up sizes
  • This 360 piece Players Kit contains 18 of the most common sized o-rings found in paintball equipment (20 of each size)
  • Kit includes o-rings sorted by size/color in individual compartments

First Impressions

At first glance, the new Profiler seems… smaller. The design appears to have been slightly shrunk down, especially around the sides and the front face area. Some angles make it look a bit off, but in other shots, it actually looks pretty sleek. It also bears a resemblance to the HK Army RMX kit for the ProFlex, though the changes here aren’t anything too drastic.

Key Design Changes

  • Slightly Different Face and Ear Design – The overall shape has been adjusted, making it look a little more modern.
  • Same Lens System – This is a big plus. Often, new masks require new lenses, making older ones obsolete. But with the Profiler 2.0, you can still use the original lenses, which is great for both players and paintball stores.
  • Large Lens Stays – Fans of the big, wide field-of-view lens will be happy to see it’s still part of the design.
  • Possibly More Breathable – The original Profiler was already known for its breathability, but the front area of the new version might be even more open.

Where Did These Pictures Come From?

The first glimpses of the Profiler 2.0 seem to have surfaced around World Cup, but GI/VForce officially posted them on their Facebook page just recently. The photos sparked some discussion, including whether the person wearing the mask in one of the shots is just really tall—because the mask looks small on them.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the Profiler 2.0 seems to be more of a refinement rather than a complete overhaul. The improved aesthetics and potential for better comfort are nice touches, and the decision to keep the original lens system is a smart move. If you already liked the Profiler, this update might be worth checking out!
