As with every off-season in paintball, there have been some big moves. Scott Kemp and Bobby Aviles went to the Ironmen, Alex Goldman to Impact and Templeton and Carl Markowski went back to Aftershock. The top three teams shouldn’t come as a surprise no major upsets here, but further down the list there may be a few shockers.

Long time Chicago Aftershock player Bryan McKenna, has left the team. McKenna had been with the team since 2012, he was their fo the lean years, where Aftershock were getting beat, beat a lot. They have now turned it around and have started to look much better, last year the team finished 3rd at the NXL World Cup. McKenna was a major part of the team, he played almost every point and was arguably one of Aftershocks best players. Chris Schehr formerly of Trenton TopGun has joined the Los Angeles Ironmen. 2016 will mark Schehr’s fourth year as a professional paintball player, his previous three years were spent with TopGun. Although TopGun struggled in the professional division, Schehr was alway a standout player on the snake side. Some new Shocker RSX Colors. For those of you who don’t like gloss finish guns like myself SP Paintball just released a paid of dust finish RSXs. Previously the only way to get a dust finish RSX was to pick up at HK RSX which also came with a price tag of $950, $150 more than the normal RSX. SP says that the two colors shown are very limited and will likely not be reproduced.

With the Millennium’s Mediterranean Cup just over the horizon, the Millennium dropped the Mediterranean Cup layout on us today. The Mediterranean Cup is the second largest tournament series to use the new W bunker set. A few weeks ago the NXL released their Las Vegas layout to mixed reviews and so far the response from players to the Mediterranean Cup has been much more positive. The field looks like it will play fairly traditional, with no major advantage…

Ranger Warsaw are gearing up for their 2016 season start, in the Semi-Pro 1 division of the Millennium series. Last Month Ranger’s made a huge off-season pickup nabbing Marcello Margott. Love these guns, they really remind me of the Impact CS1 and Geo 3.5, with their huge graphics and clean colors.
