A sad day for paintball, but a day that was on the horizon. Oliver retiring seemed inevitable, he started missing practices and has missed an event or two over the last few years. Oliver will forever be remember as one of the most influential paintball players ever to live. He and San Diego Dynasty changed the way the game was played, and he will go down as one of the best.

The Ironmen have deepened their roster with new pick up Scott Graham. Scott Graham most recently played with World Cup semi-pro winners Distortion. Distortion were and up and coming team, but have been picked apart this offseason. Nick Pesz and Mike Kerr have also left the team to play with local pro team Chicago Aftershock. The Naughty Dogs are one of the most storied teams in paintball history. Back in the mid 2000s the Dogs were one of the best teams in paintball and fought one the field with Dynasty and XSV. Toward the end of the 2000’s the teams performance was getting worse and subsequently the team stopped competing. Former Upton 187 Crew player, Max Traylor has found a new home on Infamous. Traylor is just one of a handful of the former 187 Crew players to find a new, team after the teams closer late last year. Matt Darula (Tampa Bay Damage), Josh Pike (Baltimore Revo) And Eddie Painter (AC Dallas) have all found new teams in the off season. Houston Heat announced yesterday that they would be using, Virtue Vio goggles, something I didn’t write about because it didn’t seem like a big deal. We have heard today that the team is also working on a deal that would take them to HK Army. The deal would likely get Houston Heat into HK Army: pants, packs, gloves and pads.
