The frequency with which you need to refill your paintball tank depends on several factors, including the size of the tank, barrel, paintball gun, and the temperature and humidity of the playing environment.
In general, a standard 68 cubic inch, 4500 psi paintball tank can provide approximately 900-1100 shots before needing to be refilled. However, if you have a larger or smaller tank, you may get more or fewer shots per fill.
- Compatible with 45, 48, 50, 56, 68, 70, 72 and 77ci Bottles
- Rigid, molded exterior prevents tank and regulator from dings and scratches while inside your gearbag or at the field during handling.
- Water resistant carbon-fiber patterned exterior protects contents from elements
Your paintball gun can also impact the frequency of refills. If you have a high-end marker you may need to refill your tank less frequently than if you have a lower-end marker. Higher-end markers typical have are more air efficient, allowing you to get more shot per tank.
Finally, temperature and humidity can also affect how often you need to refill your tank. In colder temperatures, the pressure in your tank may decrease, leading to fewer shots per fill. Similarly, in high humidity conditions, the moisture in the air can affect the performance of your tank and gun.
In general, it’s a good idea to bring a spare tank or plan to refill your tank between games or during breaks to ensure you don’t run out of air mid-game.
