Aftershock have just lost another core player in Rob Velez. Ronnie Dizon left Shock to go back to Houston Heat last month and now Velez is heading to Boom. Velez is no stranger to Boom, Velez played for: Boom, Boom II and Boom III throughout 2010 and 2012 until making his way to Aftershock.

There is no question that Velez was one of Aftershocks best players and one of the better players in the NXL. Players on the lower ranked teams often get overlooked for their still, due to their teams poor performance Velez was one of those guys he is a very good paintball player. I imagine that Boom will benefit right way from adding Velez to the roster, he is an experienced pro and can help added some offense to the roster.
