Dave Bains of Edmonton Impact is set to be Impacts full-time coach.
Over the last two years, Bains has slowly been transitioning out of a playing role and into a coaching position. Last year Bains travelled to all the Millennium events, but didn’t not play, he was only found on the sidelines calling plays and giving direction. He did however suit up at the NXL events, but scarcely played. Bains is one of the best players that the sport has ever seen, so parting more of his knowledge on the teams newer players, should only make Impact a better.
