They have! (kinda). There have been a few people that have designed shells that take existing electronic hopper internals and turn them into small, pump hoppers.

▪ J Will – PBQT: What do you think about the NXL adding more teams to the Pro Division? I have mixed feelings.
I’m a firm believer that teams should have to earn their spot to play pro. That is not to say that teams like NY Extreme, ML Kings or Scottsdale Elevation are bad teams, they just didn’t earn their spot like DMG did.
On the other had I think that it could make the league more interesting, at least in the short term. I know that I’m interested in seeing how the new pro teams like ML Kings and Elevation stack up against some of the lower tier pro teams from last year like Seattle Thunder and Boom.
▪ John Evan P1 – What Happens if you dent/chip/crack your carbon fibre tank?
Nothing, well maybe. It is somewhat common for carbon fiber thanks to become chip or cracked. Typically we are seeing cracks on tanks that are newer, the older tanks say from before 2008 or so did not have this problem. The cracks are caused by the tank expanding and contracting. The tank expands when it is full and contracts when it is emptied or cooled. This stressed the coating on the tank and it cracks.
